The body is lightweight ash for that tone only an ash Strat can have. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 7.25 inch radius rosewood fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. Three hot Texas Special pickups deliver everything from sparkling clean to SRV style blues. A vintage style trem and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The guitar is finished in a cool shade of Hot Rod Red Nitro Cellulose lacquer. The color is sort of like Dakota Red. Very hip and very vintage. Made in the USA to the highest standards, the Mark Knopfler Strat offers vintage looks with modern feel. This model is not eay to find and this one is an early one with a serial number in the 200’s.
